Stationed overseas...

Is it (rarely/highly?) possible for a Naval Aviator to be stationed overseas like England, Italy and Germany etc.? I know AF pilots frequently do this, but have only heard of Navy pilots flying off the boat. Can a Navy pilot participate in NATO overseas operations perhaps? Just curious because I wouldnt mind being stationed in another country for some time !

A strange additional question to this. I also am interested in being stationed over sea's and my wife is all for it. However she heard that if you have pets (dogs) they have to spend 6 months in quarantine before you get them. I promised her i'd ask...

In England it's 6 months, but in Germany or Italy it is only a couple of days. Japan is a different story.

Don't sweat the small stuff!
