Hello, I am active Army E6 Contract Specialist. Is it possible to commission?
Your first step is to read Chapter 4 of the OPNAV Instruction 1420.1B. You would have to go the OCS route. You might consider the Navy's Supply Corps (Designator 3100), but because you are prior service, you could ask for an age waiver and apply for other programs for which you qualify. After reading the instruction multiple times and verifying that you qualify, contact your local OFFICER recruiter and begin the application process.

How much time do you have remaining on your current enlistment?

Unfortunately he is passed the waiver-able age, Intel would be the only real option with a non tech degree, and even then it would be a longshot given the lower GPA.

The OPNAVINST said Supply was 35....or is there a tradecraft secret that I don't know?

It used to be 29 waiver-able to 31 for prior service or 35 for those currently USN AD, but that changed years ago to a flat 29 waiver-able to 31, the OPNAVINST is updated so infrequently it is often not 100% correct.

My degree is BS in Applied Science & Technology. I have 2 years remaining but already have my 368 signed by my O6. I also already did my commission physical but the Army shot me down because I have just over the 10 years.

Is it not correct that the USN adjusts the age according to how much prior service you have? For example 1 year for 5 years service. Wouldn't that put me at 29?

It is a month for month waiver for prior service but there is a cap, and that cap is 31 for most designators, and that cap is misleading because it is a "commissioned by" age, so the cap with waiver is really 30 yrs and 9 months, and without waiver it is 28 yrs and 9 months.

IWC has a higher age limit but of the 3 main designators Intel is the one that often picks non tech degrees, but even then it is hard to get picked up, you probably have a better shot at making MSgt then Intel officer.

Yes you did but for some reason I'm seeing a conflict of ages for certain fields. I would think that with a 3.5 and a 60 on the exam I would be able to get picked up but I don't know.

Not for Supply, you have to meet the age limits per the program authorization just like everyone else, IWC designators are the only ones you qualify for age wise.
