Is there a timelimit to how long you are allowed to go back and edit a post? It seems after some predetermined amount of time I don't have the edit button next to my old post's.

Yes. If there's something you need/want removed, post here w/ a link to the thread and we can "adjust."

Empirically based, you can edit your own post as long as no one has submitted a subsequent post to the thread. Failing that, have one of the MOD SQUAD do it for you.
