Can someone give me some idea as to the rate of promotion in the Navy for pilots. Obviously it is dependent upon performance, so if you could format the answer to state the earliest-to-latest an officer should be considered for a given rank I would appreciate it. (ie O-1 0-??, O-2 ??-??, etc.)

Also, does aviation pay begin after graduation, once you get to your squadron, or when you start API, Primary, etc?
