I'm glad to see that my low GPA isn't going to kill me. But it's not going to be easy from here on out. Thanks for posting your scores, guys.

I'm in a similar position except it is the ASTB that is dragging me down. I have a 3.7 GPA and dual Management/Marketing major. The first time I took the ASTB I scored 5 5 4 51 .. Retested last week 5 6 5 49.... I applied for the November Board, but have herd an OAR less than 50 is a slim chance. I have studied my ass off for the ASTB but the time limits kill me. I am just not fast at solving math problems.... If I am not selected I have to wait a good bit before I can retest so ill just keep working at it... Thank God for the whole person approach..

Time yourself on the practice tests. Trust me. I got killed on the time in math too. Learn to say to yourself, "I've been on this problem too long. I need to pick an answer and move on." It takes time but it will come. You just need to put in the hard work. Also bring a stop watch into the test area with you and you can glance at it while your working to help you keep an eye on your time. Sorry if that was blunt, not trying to tell you how to do things. I was in the same boat too. Keep working hard and you'll get it! Good Luck!

My scores are 5/6/5 47, with a GPA of a 2.7. I was wondering if anyone has gotten SNA with scores like that. I have a bunch of commendations and a medal for police work also, and 115 flight hours, that I thought would help but I was really wondering if I really need an outstanding OAR to have a chance?

Here's to hoping

Just took the ASTB today, gotta say it wasn't too easy.

ASTB: 5/5/5 56
GPA: 4.0 cumulative in my junior year at Arizona State University
Major: Psychology
Minor: Social Work/ Family studies

LORs: retired AF colonel, retired O2 navy officer, current employer, previous employer, dean

Have some sports (all state golf) and haven't taken the PRT yet (not going to do super well on it but will definitely pass). I have no idea how competitive I am, but I do have something on my police file for a bogus shoplifting charge of "altering price", but the charges were dropped and I was found not guilty. That's the only thing really hurting me I think.

Anyone know what's going on with the April board and beyond? Just started the process with the recruiter yesterday (so wouldn't be able to get in for the April board anyway) and they seemed to imply that everything was on hold now.

According to my recruiter and another section of this board, everything is back on for the April board for now. Things could always change. I will be 26 in June, so if they cancel this one, I can probably forget about becoming a naval aviator due to the age limit.

My stats are 8 8 9 67 with a 3.17 GPA in Construction Management.

Con is that I have a DWI, which I understand they aren't giving waivers for.
