FormerRecruitingGuru

Making Recruiting Great Again
Reserve Officers:

Do you aspire to be selected for command? Are you working toward your 2N1 “Command Eligible” AQD, or do you want to start working toward it?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, don’t miss this training opportunity!

The Reserve Leader Development Training Team (RLDTT) will host its next training session on 8 June at 1400(EDT)/1300(CDT)/1100(PDT). The focus of the training will be on items within the Navy Reserve Augment Unit (NRAU) CO/OIC Personnel Qualification Standard (PQS), and SELRES officers of all designators are invited to participate. Participants will be able to obtain sign-offs on a number of items within the PQS, which can be found at https://private.navyreserve.navy.mil/cnrfc/N-Codes/N7/reserve_co_oic/Pages/cqb_home.aspx.

WHO: All SELRES officers, regardless of designator. NOTE: Due to the popularity of this training and system limitations, participation is limited to the first 175 people who log into the training.

WHAT: Training on the NRAU CO/OIC PQS. Completing this PQS earns you the “Command Eligible” Additional Qualification Designation (2N1 AQD), which will be a requirement for CO/OIC billets, beginning with the FY20 APPLY Board.

This training session will cover the following line items from the PQS: All of Section 204 plus items 203.3, 203.8, and 203.9. Participants who complete the required end-of-course survey by the established deadline will receive a memo documenting their attendance and the specific line items covered.

WHEN: Saturday, 8 JUN 2019, 1400(EDT)/1300(CDT)/1100(PDT), for approximately 60 minutes.

WHERE: Visit (CAC login, E-MAIL certificate): https://conference.apps.mil/webconf/hrselresquarterlytraining. Registration is not required; however, participation will be limited to the FIRST 175 PARTICIPANTS. As long as you have a valid DoD CAC, you will be able to authenticate and access DCS. Be sure to use your E-MAIL CAC certificate. Participants are strongly encouraged to use headphones w/microphone in their computers in order to be able to listen and speak with presenters and other participants. If not available, participants may use the chat feature on DCS to make comments or ask questions. To conserve bandwidth, participants are requested NOT to use the video feature. All participants may download the presentation from DCS on the day of the presentation (using the DCS link above). IMPORTANT: To provide an accurate muster, participants must join individually to the webinar via DCS.

WHY: Although currently a discriminator among those seeking command, completing the PQS will be mandatory for all SELRES officers applying for CO/OIC billets, beginning with the FY20 APPLY Board.
