At theaters now: Saw yesterday - epic. A collection of high resolution archival film footage - along with illustration and narration stitched together in a wonderful 90 minutes. Great footage of USS Hornet and HS-4 as well.

This is apparently too much science for the Great State of Mississippi, as it is not currently playing in a single theatre.

Binging on “Rebellion” and “Resistance” on Netflix. Starts with the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin and goes through the ‘20s. Nothing revolutionary (so to speak) with how the story’s told, but it’s well done. Focuses less on the big names - Mick Collins and de Valera are background characters - and more on the ordinary Irish and English spies, fighters, and civilians.

Watched Rebellion. Reccomend. Have yet to catch Resistence. Did you think it better?

I think the story still hasn’t been told better than in “Michael Collins” but I thought it was definitely worth the time to watch.

I want to see that... looked like Narcos but with special forces.

Disagree on Triple Frontier... progression of the plot was fairly ridiculous, like a number of points where you’re just scratching your head thinking “wait... why...?” Plus the bonus of Ben Affleck either fully committing to the role of present day Ben Affleck, or truly giving zero f’s... or some combination thereof. It verges on ‘so bad it’s good’ territory, but not as well executed on that front as, say, The Expendables, which is probably the gold standard.
