IF you want to buy something in Meridian, let me suggest a DUPLEX. I had a buddy that made some $eriou$ bank by owning a duplex. He lived in one half, and rented the other half out. The rent he made paid for about 75% of the mortgage. He banked quite a bit of his Housing Allowance. He also made some money when he sold it. If you can't sell it due to a weak market, then you can aways rent both sides out and continue to make some ca$h.

Just an idea.
