Waiting for the selection memo ?The EDO boards are good about bringing in people who meet the requirements and can demonstrate in interviews and their motivational statement they'd be a good asset.
You will get the results soon. Worst case scenario, the director of reserve EDO recruiting emails you first. Please be patient.
Have a package in, have not heard anything, not expecting to for another couple of weeks. Was non-select at the special March board, at which only 2 of 6 were selected (historically below the average selection rate, for those meeting the R-EDO criteria). This board is the first under the new Program Authorization (https://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-...DO_Reserve_Commissioning_Program_Apr-2019.pdf ) requiring three interviews with (RC or AC) EDO O-5's or O-6's, which is a change from the previous requirement of two interviews at O-4 and above. That was a bit of a last-minute curveball for me, which I was able to negotiate with my recruiter's help, but may limit the number of packages that actually make it to board.Anyone have insight on the additional June board being held this month for FY19?

Congrats Conan. I haven’t heard anything yet, but I did reach out to my OR after seeing your post. I’m an enlisted member in one of the Surgemain units up in the Northeast so there’s certainly a lot of anticipation in hope to be selected for the R-EDO community to continue to develop. Good luck at ODS!Just found out today! Looking forward to finally moving to the dark side!
Right on man! I am enlisted as well (6 years active as a nuke mechanic onboard submarines and the past 9 as a member of Surgemain). I'm actually heading up to Portsmouth, NH this weekend for AT. It will be odd being ENS (Sel) at the yard.Congrats Conan. I haven’t heard anything yet, but I did reach out to my OR after seeing your post. I did find out from my recruiter that the EDO quotas were 115% because of all the active EDOs moving over to the reserves. Looks like no commissioning until FY20.
