Wow.... big words, little man.
Meh. Gotta keep it interesting. This place is loaded down with P-3 guys so I wouldn't say this stuff if I really meant anything by it.

You're waiting to class up for Primary, right? Here's a fun thing you can do, when you start flying military aircraft: Talk shit on the first Herky Bird/Warpig IP's ride, so he'll know that you're 100% legit and that he better not give you any bullshit. Extra points if you lay it down in the brief/pre-flight. You'll pretty much definitely get jets that way.
Let me know how that works out.
Smiles in full effect, somewhere around here.
Granted...but have you seen the property values in north Santa Rosa County? The same thing applies. Likewise, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know a fat, ugly woman when he sees one.
We were flying Sept 30th... In support of a movie filming at Barksdale AFB. We only flew 3 of 4, and when they were spinning up (I didn't have a copilot) I got grabbed to be in a scene and was told to "act concerned". I'm sure it will make the trailer! It wasn't me, but I was there the other night on a goggle hop. When were you there? I think I was the only fleet aircraft flying on Sept 30th that night. Okay, maybe someone was in Starboard D w/ the clown jets off the coast, but otherwise...
Damn, I forgot.Pictures?
3 specifically. They only tagged us on the side of the A/C behind the crew door. Each of the three got one on the cowling just below the rotor head, one in the luggage compartment, and one on the overhead console above the IPs head in return. If it was this weekend, there were a bunch of 57s there.
Would you want that ugly thing flying over your house? It brings property values down everywhere within a 5 nm radius. That must be a note in the NATOPs somewhere.
Got any pics phrog? What did you do to the -57?

I was in Gainesville from 1-4 Oct, supporting UF NROTC.
After looking at your pic Semper, I'd have to say the Harrier is the only plane to break down AND smoke than the P-3. Congrats, that's a big feat.
On a side note, some ass hat local got the P3s banned from flying at G'ville due to noise. We haven't flown there in months.

We flew the Marine Option guys from an LZ at Santa Fe College, up to some working area NW of Cecil Field. Next day we moved them between two LZs with some f-in' off time in between. No kidding? Good deal. Was it for a Pass in Review or something?
If this keeps up, where are you going to be able to fly?:icon_rage
