Housing options around Camp Pendleton and Miramar

I'm going to be selecting out of Advanced Helos here in about 2 months and I wanted to get a guage on some good housing options out in the Pendleton or Miramar area, since I'm hoping to get stationed on the West Coast. I know nothing is definite yet, but I just wanted to get some ideas from any Marines in the know about where would be a good place to live. Thanks!
