I bought a house in flight school that I always planned to move back into if I ended up in PCola for an IP tour. Fast forward 10 years and I ended up getting orders to NASP vice Whiting. The fam decided on Gulf Breeze as the place to put down roots, so we no longer have a need for our Pace house.
If you are moving to the area, this might be the place for you. The house was purchased new in 2007 and I've rented it out to VT IPs and most recently an Escambia County Sheriff. Currently the rent is $1375 and I've literally never had a month without a tenant in the place.
The house needs updates to be sold at the top of the market (215-220k) and rather than invest the time I'd be happy to see it go to a fellow gold-winger who is interested in leveraging their sweat equity to have a house exactly the way they want it.
House is in GOOD condition, with normal wear and tear. There is a transferrable ENSEC termite bond as well. Just put in a new AC unit (furnace and heat pump)
