I was wondering if anyone new what eye tests are administered at Pensecola prior to flight training. Does anyone know if these tests include the Lancaster Red/Green test or the Hess Red/Green test. Or if there were any other tests involving glasses with one red lens and one green lens?
Thank you.

No red/green lens tests. They will test you for color vision and depth perception and a standard eye test near and far. They may even dialate your eyes to check your true vision (cycloplegic/myopia/hyperopia). They will also contour the sufrace of you eye to see if you have had eye sugery. Check the NOMI website: http://www.nomi.med.navy.mil/NAMI/WaiverGuideTopics/exams.htm> <http://www.nomi.med.navy.mil/NAMI/WaiverGuideTopics/ophthalmology.htm>
