Flight Physical

I have taken my flight physical in Pensacola as a part of my application for the Marine Corps and things went well, but due to recent changes I am pursuing the Navy. My recruiter says that I should not have to retake the physical again after OCS, until it is time for a new one anyway. Has anyone had a similar experience?
