I was at a New Years Eve party with one of the only SR-71 RSOs to successfully eject (Blair Bozek). Talk about some great stories!

Fast dumb and happy at 80k- then a motor magically explodes and they have to descend 55K ft in about a minute and slow way down, and then the Foxbats show up...
