The Herk is a plane I always just want to "boop" the nose of. But I'm never in a place where I get to do this.
I can let you know when the time comes. I’m not sure we can afford you though- won’t you be printing airline-stamped gold bricks by then? This is what makes it all worth it. Some of us won't have that in *checks watch* slightly less than 4 years. Are you guys hiring part time guys from the airlines without that nerd patch?
I used to boop it as part of the engine start checklist.
I always literally kick the tires on my preflights. Love tap. Still have same number of takeoffs and landings.I used to boop it as part of the engine start checklist.
Have you heard of the pilot whose callsign is OTO0L?I always literally kick the tires on my preflights. Love tap. Still have same number of takeoffs and landings.

I have not. Story please!Have you heard of the pilot whose callsign is OTO0L?
I’m going to butcher the facts - and maybe he is a member here - but he was a MIDN doing a summer familiarization ride in the backseat, took off, had some issue and they had to punch out. That was the end of his summer, although the story goes he later winged. Callsign stands for “one take off, 0 landings.”I have not. Story please!
