Everyone Goes Helos

Just wondering if any of you guys have seen this before. A buddy of mine graduated primary a few weeks ago, he didn't do so hot and got stuck in Helos, but his roomate had graduated the week before, coming out with an NSS of 62, graduating #1 only to be told that the entire class was being sent helos. I always thought an entire class going helos was a joke, but now i have spoken to a few guys who claim thier entire class or a class before them was sent to helos.

Not an uncommon occurance. "Needs of the service" prevail over everything. If they have a change in needs, however, I have seen SNA's get to Whiting to be given orders up to Meridian to start jets. Frumby
