I’m a junior and high school and am highly considering joining NROTC. My main goal would be to become a pilot upon commissioning. you guys are called air warriors so I took a guess this is where i should be. What are the (HYPOTHETICAL) odds that I could get an early release form signed to go fly jets in the air force if i really truly hate flying navy?

Concur. With retention issues across the Joint force, you will be expected to fulfill your initial commitment. Plan accordingly.

Once you are in the seat, they are not all that different. The boat...there's the difference. But @Brett327 says it true...plan accordingly.
