Commissioned Navy officer attending Marine OCS

I am doing my homework and have heard about commissioned officers attending Marine OCS to become Marine officers. They also have to go back down as an O-1. Has anyone seen this happen? Did they have any advantage going in already as commissioned officers? Besides having high PFT, CFT, does anyone have any advice for a commissioned officer trying to get into the green side?
