If you choose, or get chosen for Augusta, feel free to PM me for any information you need on the area. There are quite a few folks in my neighborhood who are intel types. The one plus is that your dollar will go farther here than elsewhere.
Some of the good things that Augusta has to offer is medical care; we have a Medical school, two VA hospitals, as well as the hospital at Ft. Gordon. We are two hours away from Atlanta and Charlotte, and about 3.5 hours away from the beach.
The bad news is that Augusta is hotter than Hell for about 5 months out of the year, slightly cooler for 4 months and pretty nice for the remaining 3 months.
