Another blow to Napster

It looks like Metallica is going after Napster with a vengence. And Napster is forced to "ban" all users (roughly 317,000) who had Metallica mp3 songs listed. For those who aren't familiar with Napster, it is a program used to download mp3s from other people's computers. To see the story, check out these links:

I do.
It´s just another proof that Metallica is a completely commercialised group, caring only for their profits. But don´t worry. There are a lot of other groups out there.

I remember when the only people that knew about Metallica where the long haired losers in high school. In ther early eighties when they started out they had zero radio play and they never even made a video until ONE.
They refused to do videos because Lars said it was "selling out", they also refused to ever "really sell out" by doing any movie soundtracks! Anybody gonna see MI-2 next week starring everybodies favorite TOPGUN graduate???

I love Metallica, but I find this all funny. with no videos, radio play or large venue concerts their first decade or so, they earned their core audience in the music underground by, quess what: BOOTLEGS of their concerts!

Anybody out there in the Philly area remember the FREE CONCERT '98???

The 90's, seems like everything good got raped somehow, thank god they're over!
