For those of you who have heard rumors about lower interest rates for active duty personnel here's the scoop. According to Soldier's and Sailors Civil Relief Act, personnel who are called to active duty from the Reserves or National Guard are eligible to have interest rates on preexisting loans reduced to no greater than 6%.
