Royer...Speedy Tuesday!

After reveille this morning, I switched from the Omega nylon NATO to the Omega Barenia leather NATO...and then took pics of my newly acquired Skilcraft pens from my volunteer job driving golf carts at the VA medical center.

Well, since you are doing government ink sticks, you might as well sing them Happy Birthday!

I remember there being a solid metal bushing between the sections, And yes I have used it as a "Field Expedient" fuse for instrument lights.
It still has the solid metal bushing...lithographed black stripes were added to the solid metal bushing at some point.

"The SKILCRAFT B3 Aviator Pen is a triple function pen that includes both blue and black ink, as well as a 0.5mm pencil! Made to fit securely in a flight suit, the B3 pen's all metal construction provides added durability, and the special finish does not reflect light. The screw-top eraser fits tightly on the pencil top meeting all Foreign Object Damage (FOD) requirements. Comes with 2 replacement ink cartridges. Proudly Blind Made in the USA."

When I think of any Skilcraft writing utensil, the first thing that comes to mind is how they're a FOD bomb. I can't imagine trying to manage that eraser cap while trying to FCF in the cockpit.

Blue ink? In the military? Next thing someone will tell me it can write lower case letters.

Plus, $25 for a shitty ballpoint pen?
