I would suggest consider SWO or aviation if Intel doesn't pan out. The GPA and OAR are on the "average" side and liberal arts applicants are a dime a dozen.

Hey y'all,
I was hoping to get some input on my aviation package; I'm hearing news that the April board could be pretty competitive given the number of slots remaining and just want to temper my expectations for this time around (and possibly consider delaying submitting an application to next cycle).

Male
22
ASTB: 58 8/8/8 (first attempt)
GPA: 3.94
Major: Batchelor of Arts in Philosophy (Graduating May of this year)
LOR: 2 (SWO O-6 and O-6 aviator)

The number of spots at each board is an average of all of available spots allocated for a year, it changes but not much from one FY to another. There is no way to know if one board is better than another because the variable is how many are applying and what their scores are, those are things only NRC has the full picture on.

If you have no non-medical waivers you might qualify for immediate selection.

I am posting here because I am unsure what the correct thread is:

How long is the average wait time for a prescreen/ initial visit to MEPS? My previous recruiter ghosted me and missed the ability to submit a package for the Nov/Dec aviation board, and now I am afraid I will not complete my package in time for the upcoming April board. My current recruiter is telling me 6-8 weeks.

GPA: 3.46
Major: Neuroscience w/ minor in Bioengineering

Good afternoon, I recently took my ASTB and scored a 53 6/7/7 I will be submitting my package for the NFO board in April.and I have good letters of recommendation (one being from a current Naval officer). Are my score competitive enough for NFO? Also, I recommend the ASTB app ($20) but it's worth it for the UAV section.
