Just a simple question that I can't seem to find an answer to... I am applying for pilot/nfo and have 20/20 corrected vision. All is good with my eye test and what not, but my recruiter came back and said that my uncorrected vision in one eye was too bad to apply for pilot. Is this even a thing? He said I could still go for nfo but I had to remove pilot from my application to the board. I have a feeling that this isn't entirely true, but I can't find any information either way. Thanks in advance!

Vision limit for Pilot is 20/40. Has to be uncorrected.

For both Pilot and NFO, it must be correctable to 20/20.

Here would be a better place to ask this question in the future.

pgunner is correct. You could always withdraw your application for both, get PRK, wait the six months and then reapply as well.
