Vision Requirements

I have 20/100 vision in my left eye and 20/20 in my right eye. I heard that the requirements are 20/40 uncorrected and correctable to 20/20. Does this have to be correctable through LASIK/PRK or glasses? Would my vision fall into the requirements or be waiverable?

Lasik, but it has to be done by sharks with freakin laser beams attached to their heads.
