Toric lenses

Quick question regarding the SCL waiver. I just got SCL and the optometrist informed me that the right contact was a toric lense due to astigmatism. It was very uncomfortable and i changed it for a regular spherical lense like the left eye. The astigmatism, i believe, is not serious as i was informed from the captain who performed my eye exam at NAS Jax in feb. said it was minor, and i had nothing to worry about. Are Toric lenses disqualifying? I ask just in case i feel it might be a better fit. Next question, my follow up is saturday and i was wondering if anyone knows if there any catches to the SCL waiver for certain contacts. If there are, id like to get it fixed next saturday. Appreciate the info.

According to this http://www.texasmarineofficer.com/ContactsAuthorized.html Toric lenses are allowed...however I would ask your recruiter if they really are, he will be able to tell you (hopefully) the exact truth.
