After getting PRK and all the follow up documentation complete how long does it take to get a med waiver granted once its been submitted to NOMI? Also is it necessary to have the waiver granted or just submitted before you can be considered for SNA? Do they just grant the waiver when you go in for your pre-commisioning/flight physical? If anyone is familiar with the process please let me know.

It's all part of your FINDOCS, they will grant you a waiver when they look over all your med stuff.

For the Marines, I had the flight physical after 6 months. Then they submitted it to BUMED. I got waived by them after about a month. They take all that info and sent it to NAMI. I am waiting on them. I probably wont get their word until mid OCS.
