NPQ'd due to Retinal Scarring?

I had my eyes dilated about a month ago, and my ophthalmologist noted some scar tissue on my retina. She described this as "temporal chorioretinal scarring" both to me and on the examination notes. This was present in both eyes. She told me that the scarring was very small and could very well be something I was born with, and my eyes are perfectly healthy otherwise. I've never had an eye injury or disease, and my vision, aside from being 20/100, is perfectly normal. My ultimate question is: would this cause NAMI to disqualify me from aviation?

Thanks

They will test your field of vision to see if the scar creates a blind spot. 20/100 is way out of regs for SNA.

My scars don't interfere with my vision given their location, according to my eye doc. I know the minimum uncorrected for SNA is 20/4o, which is why I'm getting LASIK. I'm still a few years from graduating college, so I have a while before NAMI looks at me.

TB would have the best insight on this, but the applicants I had who had any issues with the eyes beyond vision correction or just bad vision did not go well.

From DODI 6130.3:
"Unless otherwise stipulated, the conditions listed in this enclosure are those that do NOT meet the standard by virtue of current diagnosis, or for which the candidate has a verified past medical history. The medical standards for appointment, enlistment, or induction into the Military Services are classified by the general systems described in 3–31 of this enclosure.
d. Retina: Current or history of any abnormality of the retina (361.00-362.89, 363.14-363.22), choroid (363.00-363.9) or vitreous (379.2x). "

I'm not an eye guy, but the physical standard seems pretty clear to me. Get the lasik if you want, but I would prepare myself to be disqualified for commissioning.
