NFO allows correctable vision, but does it disqualify you from certain pipelines?

NFO allows correctable to 20/20. I currently have that, but am I allowed to go for all pipelines? Do they limit what pipelines I can go through? I heard some people say you dont wear contacts in jets because of the high Gs etc. Does anyone know about this?

NFO's with contacts and glasses are not limited to certain platforms, unless you count the ones that NFO's don't fly on in the first place, and you can wear contacts in jets.

What you heard is BS. When the flight doc says you are physically qualified, there are no airframe limitations associated with it. I know several guys in advanced who got contacts at the beginning of ACM because they were having trouble seeing, and 7G's never caused them any problems.

i wear contacts on every flight, no issues. major issues doing bfm wearing glasses, small blind spot when your checking six
