Title says it all. Mini-mini Bubba made his debut last night (26 July) at 2054 Pentagon Standard Time. 7Lbs even, 20.5 inches. Mom and baby are doing just fine. Cheers! - Pics to follow shortly.
3/4ths of the Bubba family. Mom's doing great and the nurses have said that little man has one of the healthiest appetites they've seen in a while. And before you guys ask, yes, he's already got a bunch of aviation themed stuff. Gotta start him early.
When I read this, I thought about how some pregnant moms listen to classical music (according to legend it makes kids smarter), but instead, I pictured this:
I highly recommend a blackened chicken salad. Congrats, Bubba - Don't ever let him become a filthy Hinge.
As I told a slacker JO in my squadron yesterday... Making fun of hinges is like making fun of the old man walking down the street with a walker... At some point it's gonna be you - and then it'll be just that much more sad
At the end of the day, we're all (hopefully) telling people about how great we were while reminiscing on the internet about a former career. It's the Hinges that will have a (slightly) nicer car in the garage.
I'm glad my son's birth announcement thread has taken the typical AW slide. I'd feel slighted were it otherwise. The hinge bashing may continue...
Love the forum today! All great stuff. He'll be the leader of the pack. Congratulations Bubba and Mrs Bubba.
