LT(jg) Bill "Swanee" Swanson USNR, a member of Attack Squadron 95, was KIA at Mu Gia Pass, Laos on 11 Apr 1965, while flying an A1 Skyraider ...remains recovered 29 Jul 2010, and identified 20 Jan 2012. A funeral service will be held at the Fort Snelling National Cemetary for Bill on 11 Jun 2012 at 1230. He is being buried with full honors. Swanee is home at last.
Wow. Welcome home, Swanee. And now rest in peace. And Thank You to all those (whoever you may be) involved in recovering his remains after all these years. [Many good men were lost over the infamous, Mu Gia Pass.]

Lot of great, dedicated folks working at the Joint Personnel Recovery Center (I think that's the current name...) in Hawaii. Used to be called Joint Task Force FULL ACCOUNTING in years past.
