Agree. Rented in the OV three blocks from Greenies for the two last years of our DINK-dom. Great spot for no-kids-living. Stumbling distance from plenty of nightlife. TOF from driveway to the seawall: 5 mikes plus gate delays.
Now that we are most decidedly married with children, we live near Wesleyan College. If you are looking to buy a condo, there is plenty to be had ... which also means there's plenty to rent. If you prefer a more suburban feel (or just don't care to hear unsuppressed Charger exhaust and twin 14" subs at 3 am on a weeknight), it's a great area -- plenty of military w/ family and only 20 min from gate 4.
