I had the Allegretto done and it worked out great for me. Very little pain, 20/20 and 20/25 the next day, 20/20 in each eye after 1 week, and 20/15 each after a month. As they explained it, the allegretto tries to work with the shape and contours of your individual eyeball. My doctor also said that a good friend of his in California had been using it for a couple months and was getting the best results he'd ever seen. Also, I'm fairly sure that there wasn't a difference in price between customvue and Allegretto.
I had the custom PRK procedure that uses the Wavefront technology. I do know what the difference between custom and the Allegretto are though. For all I know, they could be the exact same procedure. Anyways, the custom has worked out pretty well for me. I had it done on 16 DEC and after about 3 weeks I saw 20/20 on the chart and have since gotten better. My eyes hurt pretty bad for about 3 days after the procedure, but thats pretty typical for a PRK patient. Whatever you have done, you just have to be patient with the results.
