Well I know that I am not the only one waiting for the results of the Jul 20 board and I hope they will be out this week. I just wanted to wish all of you good luck and hopefully we all get picked up.
I don't think there really is such a thing as a "board." I think it's a big identity theft scam to get all my information...
Well anyone heard.. anything regarding the board?? Just called my NRD and was told the results of the July aviation board have NOT been released. Hmm.. maybe the Navy is doing away with aviators and going to an all UAV fleet.
How about an August board? Anyone heard anything about this coming thursday the 17th? My packet for SNA didn't make it in time for the July board, so I'm hoping for an August board. Someone give me some good news!
I hope anyone waiting on these board results is getting in shape now for OCS. I found out 3 weeks before I reported, and was definately NOT physically prepared. Start working on your PT now and be ready to go!!! Good luck.
Maybe they are lazy and are just going to wait until the next board and release all the info at once....or they are waiting at next board becasue they think the quaility of people that applied in JUL might not be good enough and they want to compare them to AUG board first and pick the best. X
Mine is in for August Board... CANT FOCUS AT WORK TODAY! Oh ya I'm working to get in shape... Been doin so for the last 5 months since I decided to put an application together and get PRK... anyhow, it does seem odd that the August board is ready to start and the July results haven't been released. What does this all mean?!
It is odd and frustrating... oh well just playing the game! Hurry up and wait, for some kind of solid response as to what is going on with the results!
If thats the case, then this will be an extra-large group being selected--that is, if they are filling slots for July AND August...

Stay positive, lots of slots, and pilots needed... still waiting! And to add my two cents, I think if they held us over to this board it would be because they didn't have enough applications for the last! Speculation is fun when done in moderation.
So what are the chances that the August board is meeting today? My recruiter told me that there would be a board every 3rd Thursday of the month and today is the 3rd Thursday of August. I hope there looking at my packet right now!
Well it looks like I am screwed I turn 31 in Dec and if the board meets today by the time the results are out I am going to be to old to get into a class that will have me comissioned prior to my birthday.
I've been told by my recruiter that today is that day. He also said that I should be receiving the news from him sometime next week. btw, how am I going to explain to my co-workers why im suddenly hitting the deck for 25 pushups-- just out of the blue?!
I work in a cube farm as an engineer. Maybe just pretend you are looking for something on the ground. Edit: or just check the site on your lunch break, so you can go do a workout.
hahah. lunch break? no way, on-site consultants have to continually give the impression of busy-ness.
At this point I just want to know so that everyone will quite asking me. My Squadron commander is making it an everyday visit to find out the status. Oh well, hopefully we'll know in two weeks or less now.
