Both wings brought jets, but it was briefed that studs could expect to fly a jet from either TraWing. I think it mostly worked out so Meridian studs were flying "A" jets, and Kingsville "B" jets though.

I heard CNATRA paddles saying that there was some software/OFP difference between some of the jets that they didn't want studs who weren't familiar with flying. Not sure what they were talking about, and I don't honestly remember there being software differences among T-45C's but it was a discussion I heard. When I went through, we weren't going to be flying T-45A's, at least that much was set in stone (though I think I have heard the -A is gone now)

As a 45A guy, I could only fly krock jets.

Is krock all Cs now?

It's almost all Cs. There are some As left, but only IPs fly those while leading form-type events.

Some of the Cs in Kingsville have new software, some have old. It's not radically different, but enough that they didn't want Meridian SNAs flying Kingsville aircraft. Kingsville studs could fly Meridian jets if they had to though.

Whatever one might think of our frog friends, every time I've seen them fly around USS Boat, they've been a pretty impressive group.
