6 Months On, Still Waiting for MEPS and Med Read

Hi All,

I'd appreciate any insight about getting past the MEPS phase of my application, which has been going on for almost six months.

All other parts of my packet are complete. At MEPS, I was feeling dizzy and had to sit down. They sent me to the ER, and my recruiter said we'd have to submit a Med Read before continuing. Apparently, it's still under review. And six months on, I check-in weekly, but there seems to be no end in sight.

Is this normal? Is there *anything* I can do to speed this up? We've already missed several boards--is anyone experiencing something similar?

How did you even get into MEPS?! I’ve been working with my recruiter for over a year and I haven’t even been scheduled yet!

if you call the IG on NRC, your name will be blacklisted and there’s no way they’ll approve you to join the navy. Retribution. Interested if there’s anyone out there who has called the IG on NRC and actually made it in the Navy? Probably doesn’t exist
