I can get my mile and a half in at 13 minutes 8 seconds which is satisfactory medium. But I can only do 30 curl ups. So H company here I come ?
You won't pass the IST with that attitude! You've got time. Work your butt off until your ship date. It might not be easy but it can be done. You got it :)

I suck at push ups and running. So guess what I spend most my time doing? Gotta push hard bro. How bad do you want it. I would not go in knowing you arent at standards. Thats setting yourself up for failure.

You're prior AD and currently a reservist, right? Whats your notion of sucking at push ups? Figure you ought to be ahead of the curve, far as civilians are concerned.

Do you know for the 50 if we can wear a tech suit/are we allowed to shave down? Also thinking about breaking out the dome cap as well. I’m hoping my 50 time offsets everything else
Its not timed. Its just can you swim 50 meters lol. Just beware in API there is a 1 mile swim in a flight suit that IS timed

Lmao. No idea. I know at API you have to swim a mile in your flight suit. When I watched the video on it a couple people were wearing swim caps.

About 40. Sit ups i'm usually about 50-60. My run has always been god awful haha
I'm good on the run and curl ups, unless they PT or asses into the ground and my legs just seize up lol. I can burn through the first 40 pushups pretty well but start running out of steam after that. Not sure if the DI will still be counting reps by the time Im past 50 lol. 2 mins is a long time to be doing pushups, Im usually through by the time a minute rolls around. Maybe Im going too fast.

On a side note, the PRT scale going for good to excellent, then outstanding and maximum. What happened to great?

Just sharing my workouts if it helps anyone. 2 days a week I'll do 3.5 miles with 1.5 of that being a mock test and 1 miles warm up and cool down. 2 other days I'll do 5-6 at a bit slower. I don't have much going on throughout my days so I'll do 15 pushups and 30 situps between commercials. You'll be amazed at how many commercials there are now days lol.

Then once a week I'll do a pretty intense workout at a track where I do 400m at a pace that is 1 min faster than race-pace for 1.5 miles (6 laps) with 20 pushups and 15 leg raises in between each run stint. Then I'll take a little break and do 200m at end- of-race-pace (little slower than sprinting) for 3 full laps (6 iterations) with 20 pushups where each arm is elevated for half and 45 sec of plank between each stint. Then another little break and then 100m full out sprints for 600m (6 iterations) with 10 5 second pushups and 30 seconds of v-ups between each stint. Then 1-2 miles at the end at slow pace.

Then what the hell is the point?! I actually never swam the mile in competition.. It'll be a nice new experience to see how boring those distance guys had it. My college coach had them doing 13,000 yards a day (insert puke emoji)

My OR is still saying he's got no info and no selection list. Has anyone else still not heard back? Somewhat confused since @RUFiO181 said the list is out

The list is definitely out. Since my name is not on it at all... lol

Also, I was looking at the board schedule, and I was curious what exactly low board numbers means? @RUFiO181 I'm expecting a sarcastic-ish answer which also provides additional understanding. Thanks.

It’s a 50m swim, 10 m jump and tread for 5 min. If you can’t do that, well, a branch that stays on land would probably be better haha.
I'm pretty sure the 5 minutes is a float (prone/on your back). Not sure how critical they are of you moving your legs and arms to stay on top of the water but I believe you're supposed to be relatively motionless. Hoping they're okay with some treading because my legs sink like bricks lol
