Well, now I'm really hoping my selection will be the July 22nd class or so. As is, I'm not sure I can pass despite my improvements over the past couple weeks.

Anyone know the mortality rates of SNAs and NFOs nowadays? Or a legitimate website that tracks those kinds of things.

So it looks like push ups and sit up failure on the second IST will get you sent to H company, while a run failure on the second IST will get you out processed.

Then why did you list your OCS availability so soon if you’re not physically and/or mentally prepared for OCS?

Don’t forget you also have to pass a swim qualitification at OCS. It isn’t incredibly difficult, but if you aren’t super comfortable in the water you should practice swimming on top of being proficient at running and calisthenics.

It’s a 50m swim, 10 m jump and tread for 5 min. If you can’t do that, well, a branch that stays on land would probably be better haha.

Im not sure the status on the list, but I did just hear back from my OR. I was selected for NFO!! ( Damn eyesight is crap for SNA) He said I will most likely be the July 1st OCS. All the waiting doesn't seem so bad anymore lol.

I can get my mile and a half in at 13 minutes 8 seconds which is satisfactory medium. But I can only do 30 curl ups. So H company here I come ?
