Alright, next stupid question...
So I executed my 12th PCS since 2004 this summer. For some reason it seems like I was paid a lot less per pound for the PPM portion than in the past.

I have 17000 pounds allowed, HHG move was 10K of that weight (at a cost of $17K) and I moved 6040 pounds myself, to a gross reimbursement of just over $3100 ($2236 after taxes). When I ran the estimate for 2000 pounds, the gross incentive was roughly $2300, yet the next 4000 pounds only gained me $800? What gives?

Basically paid the contractor $1.70/pound, quoted me $1.10/pound (historically consistent with past moves XC) and only paid me a bit over $.70/pound.

I looked at the JTR, I’m wondering if I ran into the max “Best Cost” number...paragraph 051503

Called Norfolk, talked to my auditor, she was not much help. She also referred me to the BCNR if I didn’t like the amount I was paid.

Any ideas?

Talk to whatever idiot wrote the requirements in the contract, they never included vox...
I'd be pissed enough to file an IG complaint against my community leadership if they intentionally F'ed up my hearing like that. I'd write a formal complaint to my congresscritters too.

Most of us just consider it an improvement that we get to maintain SOME of our hearing. Flying the P-3, especially as an NFO directly adjacent to the engine, I'm mostly deaf already, the exception being the ringing in my ears...

Someone needs to work on their 30 year old geographically ambiguous fake aircraft recce - this is the illusive MiG-28 that has a problem with its inverted flight tanks...

Your P-8 looks awesome - and that Hawker Hunter - man blast from the past. But apparently its a rugged beast from reading about it. Pretty cool. Now get some AIM 9's on your outboard wing stations Pickle!
