As a former P-3 AO, I've never heard of a paint bomb on a P-3. Sounds like a BS story.

Yeah, I flew P-3s from the early 1980s to late 1990s. No paint bombs. Never happened.

If it was done by another country ‘s P-3 or an Atlantic, everyone in any non-commie MPA would have heard about it.

Total BS story.

If the Russians want to think that our P-3's painted them and they feel more vulnerable... I say let em'! ;)

Hands off Ukraine! Feet too
:D Who knows, again... What I saw was big blue stains on a black sub's back clearly visible and this boat was returning from patrol, and I cannot presume another reason for it but to be marked by some MPRA aircraft. Maybe Brits Nimrod community, who knows?

Add Nimrods to my quote.

It didn't happen. All of MPA regardless of the country would have heard about it.

Woulda been a hell of a shot though. Just a P-3 flying over head of a Soviet boat at periscope or antennae depth isn't good news for Ivan in a shooting war.

Why the fuck do they have the Heading knob right next to the Airspeed knob on the fucking P-8 autopilot? And they used the same fucking knob too!!

Who looked retarded this morning when they almost stalled the sim turning to 090? This guy...

At least I caught it before stick shaker....”Why the fuck aren’t we turning? Whoops!”

Where is that FE when you need him... (couldn't resist). Better the sim than the plane, CAE built us some good OFTs.

Hopefully you're putting that on crash override. It really drives the techs and the COR mad when people do shit like that....or accidentally shoot crews down from the instructor console when you meant to shoot another entity in the sim....not like I've ever done that.....

LOL! Especially when many of the better inflight chefs were FEs ... though the P-8 has some legit facilities, including flush plumbing, and more legroom than Spirit Airlines.

"There are those that have and those that will." On a similar note the eng anti-ice switches are identical and look exactly like the hyd pump sys B switches...ask me how I know.

Are the Airspeed and Heading knobs on the P-8 not drastically different in their knurling like other 737-800's?
