BUPERS isn't public with dates for civilian selection, only active and reserve duty promotion. But you recruiter can tell you whether your application has been received by any boards. It's included on the PORT report

pro rec'd means professional recommended. It's the first step in gettting accepted to OCS. When you submit your package to the CNRC (recruiting command) they will review your app based on all the stuff you submitted (GPA, test score, LOR (letters of recommendation), personal statement, etc)...

This is simply an impossible question to answer. People on this board with higher GPA's have been rejected, but people wil lower GPA's have been accepted. Intel is competitive now. My recruiter told me a couple weeks ago that the Intel board had 90 some packages on thier desk Good Luck...

I've read on usnavyocs.com that some active duty applicants have been calling Ed Phillips in Millington to get questions answered. Since BDCPs are essentially active duty E-3's is he the guy for a BDCP applicant to call? Or is there someone else?

Does anyone know if there are SEPARATE selection boards for BDCP apps? Or does the regular board for each designator consider applicants for BDCP?

Hard to get into, as in do, and be sucessful is different from hard to get selected. I think this largely depends on how competitive the field is for specific designators at any given time. Right now, the tighest ones seem to be (in no particular order) SWO INTEL PILOT/NFO SUBWAR designator...
