Well if the MC says I can wear silkies as rainbow gear... then I want to. I found the MARADMIN... but it didn't answer my questions. Am I wrong to wear the shorts in rainbow PT gear? And is it lawful for the sergeant to say I can't wear them?... Are CO hasn't made any statements about the issue...

Well I know they're not authorized for unit PT like squadron runs, etc. which to me says I can wear them as civilian PT gear for PT on my own or section PT if rainbow is what we're told to wear... But today for morning PT (rainbow) I wore silkies and a (Laugh for the Leathernecks) winter-green...

Appreciate the quick response, forgot to ask if the color of the PT shirt matters? I know an olive drab skivvy shirt wouldn't be allowed, but what about other colors (including other greens) and/or with pictures/writing (not unit shirts) S/F
