Sorry, I tried. I went to search -> advance search -> USMC section and typed "Private Pilot" and "Civilian flight Time" I got soem threads in which people said they had a private pilot certficate. Which is why I decided to ask in the stupid questions thread. I'm keep looking, thanks.

How much does having civilian flight training help you get selected for a SNA? Or does it not matter at all?

I have the letters that are required for the OCC package; Dean, Professor, Employer. I was wondering if there was a magic number for recommendation letters? How much are they weighted? How good would a recommendation letter from a 2 star look. Thanks in advance.

I've only taken the ASTB once and it was the form 4 so I really have nothing to compare it too at all. My OSO sent me a study guide, I have some civilian flight raitings so all the aviation stuff was easy. Math was easy but the time beat me.

Get a pair of quality compression socks, wear them around the house when you feel discomfort and run with them as well.

I took the ASTB last Friday, 20 Jan 2012. I didn't study as hard as I should have, the OSO sent me a study guide gouge which was helpful. Times on the math test beat me. Overall I ended up with a 5/7/5 46. I'm applying for a SNA slot with the USMC. I have single and multi private pilots...
