My dad has a Stearman and I have a few hours in it. Its a "Cadillac of the Sky," flies so much smoother than our C172 but much tuffer ground handling. Dad ground looped it the day he bought it home and had been flying for 20+ years... it likes grass fields and little/no crosswind.

I know you have to bust serious tail and do your homework just to get a shot at this career, I'm doing everything I can to make myself the best possible candidate and digging into each branch to find the best way in.
