What's wrong with EP-3s? You get to go to exotic places like Hainan Is (after a little tussle with a Chinese fighter jet, who lost by the way). :D

    How does FTS work?

Uncle Fester, You might want to checkout the various VX squadrons to see what they have to offer for FTS-types. Also VXS-1 is the Naval Research Lab R&D Squadron at PAX River and they might have some opportunities for FTS. I flew a number of projects in the NRL birds over the years as both an...

    Proof of Citizenship

RZA, I'll just add a note here on this topic. If your parents got a U.S. Passport for themselves and you fraudulently, you all are in deep dodo.... And this will all come out when you fill out your SF86 form requesting a DoD security clearance and the subsequent background investigation on...

    Proof of Citizenship

I think if you read your application carefully, it says Passport OR Certificate. If you have a U.S. Passport issued by the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C. you are by definition a U.S. Citizen. No other proof is necessary. Good luck to you. Deepsea 31 out.

    Are OCS Start Dates Negotiable?

I can't believe I just read this drivel. And looking at your other posts, I would guess you are a troll. My recommendation to AW Management is that they terminate you and your membership on this site. "Terminate with extreme prejudice........." Deepsea 31 out.....

Thanks A4s, Great post and links. Rota was indeed a great place. Only visited a few times. Photos bring back a lot of memories, both good and bad. I lost a lot of good friends in EA-3 crashes, including the Skipper of VQ-1 in VA-3B PR-111 (Triple Sticks) in Jan 1985. I'll post the picture...

British families suing MoD over Nimrod fire

There is precedent for this type of action in the US Navy. My Aunt sued the Navy and LTV after my Uncle had a fatal mishap in an RF-8G during the Vietnam Conflict. Turns out the Navy was flying the RF-8’s with known deficiencies with the MLG which had been corrected in the F-8 Fighters but not...
