Be aware that if you're trying to fit a suppressor under a rail, it'll get hot as shit after a pretty limited number of rounds. That fad kind of started going away circa 2014ish.

7.62x39 AR upper - any experience?

All of my C-products magazines have fed flawlessly through ~1700 rds split among them. Half of them don't drop free from the magwell when empty though. They usually stay in the bag... They got a bad rap ("Crap-products") during the beginning of their production run but I think they fixed the...

    Kydex Fabricators?

I think it was the .080 kit from knifekits.com. Seems to be a perfect thickness to me, thin but not so that I feel like the hooks will break or tear. Nice job with yours. My P30 has some decent holster wear from the MTAC I bought 2 years ago. It seems like some of their Hostile Environment™...

    Kydex Fabricators?

A Corpus sim instructor helped me make make a kydex holster for my SIG. It turned out far more polished than I thought possible. I feel like it may rival some of the commerical products out there... not difficult for a $25 kit and a couple hours. If you're going to set things up to turn them...

I converted my V3 to the "TGS" LEM variant. It was a pain in the ass, taking 2 hours and requiring 3 hands (and I didn't even change the Trigger Return Spring, which is optional, and supposedly the biggest bitch of the switch), but it ROCKS. I wish I had bought a V2 outright. People ripping...

The slip on grips are nice, like this one, just be aware its going to act as a palm swell, so if you're already reaching for the trigger, it may end up too large. I'd say most of the time they're beneficial because they'll actually help force your finger into a better position with regards to...

How is that C-93? It sounds intriguing as I'd love an HK as well but I've heard terrible things about Century. I've read a couple other reviews, which have all been positive. "Say no bad about my purchase" applies, but this is an interesting trend. It'd be great if they hold up. Let us know!

Sounds like you have the tactical covered. I've got both! I don't think you can go wrong with either purchase. If you're really stuck on tactical, you might check out a railed 1911 like a Springfield Operator or Sig GSR. I sorta think the 1911 is best left in its original iteration though...

Hard to see the need for the 4.6mm round with the existence of FN's 5.7 filling a similar role. I'd be hard-pressed to consider relying on a cartridge with ballistics similar to the .22 Magnum (but smaller). Good thing there's 50 of them (P90 magazine). One has to worry about the "ice-pick"...

Marine Corps Leaves M249 SAW for M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle.

I think the adoption of the M27 as a SAW supplement was the USMC's roundabout way of fielding the carbine they wanted, HK416, without calling it a spade. That view has been echoed here, and elsewhere. Note that SAW will still be available at the platoon level. "But accuracy seems to be the...
