This may be a dumb question, but I Pro-Rec'd as a civilian. Can't you just get out and your Pro-Rec is still valid? I could understand if you were doing STA-21, but why not just get out, and then go to OCS once it's final? Can an officer recruiter start handling your orders vice PERS?

At 16, I think the best advice I could give you is to STAY OUT OF TROUBLE. That's probably the easiest and fastest way you could screw up your chances of becoming a military aviator at this point in your life. Get the grades, volunteer, network, and start working towards your goal.

Ditto to these guys ^ I was a finance major, 3.3 gpa 7/7/8 56, and was picked up for pilot. And FWIW, I never did a PRT until I actually got to OCS. Some of us got by without it for some reason. I'd say you're sitting pretty good.

Like wink said, get it in gear. You have time, but not much. I turned 26 this past April, submitted and pro-rec'd in June, I report to OCS in 3 weeks, and should finish (hopefully) at the end of January. As long as I finish by April next year (when I turn 27), I'm told I'm in the clear.
