Who Is Going To NSI In Feb?

I'm stuck in Chicago. I won't be in until 2200 at the earliest  I have to say thanks to the USO, though... it makes Chicago not so bad.

Who Is Going To NSI In Feb?

Nope I'm flying... few more days of leave. I'm tempering myself to the cold here in the Midwest. It's -10 at midday. Newport should be nice compared to this.

    Lots of Questions?

I think that is almost every command. :icon_wink I wish and hope that more people would realize the Navy/Military is what you make of it. The civilian sector is more of the same. //End rant

Who Is Going To NSI In Feb?

I found the info online about California and instate tuition, I forgot where. Basically if said if you are on orders to California for the purpose of education you don't qualify for instate. That's why my choices dropped to Colorado and Arizona, and I'm going to Arizona. I was down there the...

I have. But it was my website when I was developing the php/mysql (database) backend. They just haven't suppressed the debug errors yet. I agree it would look prettier if it just said "Sorry Site Broken." :D No less frustrating though.

    Alcohol Dependent...package killer?

Not to be a kill joy but it looks like you have to wait another year or so to to apply. I think that if you have shown great personal and professional growth in learning from this it could help your package. It doesn't sound like you had an incident, that's good. The boards look at the whole...

As per the instruction you have to extend/reenlist to 6 year prior transferring. "Obligated Service. Prior to execution of orders to NSI or BOOST, you must sign a 6‑year active service obligation. You can do this by either extending or reenlisting, as necessary." I get to extend 2 years...

Who Is Going To NSI In Feb?

Well according to earlier posts the first wave looks like it will be around the 15th, right near the deadline. I've submitted my paperwork for 2 schools. One will take about 24 months, the other 36. I wonder which the Navy will send me to? :icon_wink I can't wait to have orders in hand.

Makes sense Chief, but still confusing in regards to the selection board process, the instruction/NAVADMIN and what was posted earlier about graduating by 29 for CORE. I had mine physical done a while a go. I think the mail lost it. Now I find that they actually prefer the paperwork emailed from those of us 'lucky' enough to be stationed overseas. And no I don't get the AIP..... Finishing up my degree plan... should be back out to the fleet Sept 2010.
