Age waivers for non-priors are still possible. If you have a 290+ PFT (300 is better) and a good reason(s) why you haven't applied way before your age cut-off, you might get one. YMMV as always though.

The official MAC patches are finally here! The unorthodox shape is partly due to the very horizontal nature of the logo; trust me when I say it just didn't look right on a rounded shape. The other reason, is that it actually makes it look very similar to the old school MCAA diamond logo.

The knee pain sounds like it might be tendonitis (which I've had). It will get worse when running on hills. Wear a knee brace or support, but don't get too dependent on them. Strengthen your quads and all the muscles around your knee cap. Here are some exercises which will help...
